MobiSat offers quality with the most convenience with the planar antenna BAS 60, the automatic positioner HDP 170 and the digital mobile receiver UFD 540. Both of the European satellite systems, ASTRA and EUTELSAT/HotBird, transmit a variety of TV and radio programmes, which can be easily and conveniently received with the MobiSat system. A SMALL Revolution in Satellite Antenna Technology.  The BAS 60/61 flat antennas, with an edge length of only 50 x 50 cm, offer the receiving output of a 60 cm parabolic antenna. With conventional flat antennas, a number of individual dipoles that are interconnected and connected with the LNB input are used for receiving each polarisation. It is different with the BAS 60/61: the satellite signals are received by means of waveguide radiators and interconnected through two waveguide networks - for horizontal and vertical polarisation and connected with the LNB input. The frequency ranges from 10.70 GHz to 12.75 GHz, meaning that the BAS 60/61 is suitable both for receiving analog and digital television programs as well as for receiving Astra Digital Radio. Test results: the magazine "video" in their 3/98 issue certifies that it has "very good reception". In the single test that consisted of the flat antenna, the automatic positioner and the UFD 345 receiver, the BAS 60 product series and the receiver received the assessment "VERY GOOD cost-to-performance ratio".
